Hello Dear Blogity Blog Blog reader. How are you? Doing well I hope. Long time since we have talked.
So, read any good books lately?? What about movies? Try any new recipes??
Well, sheesh, if you don't feel like talking, I guess I will just talk.
I had a Dr's appt today. Things went great. I am down 5 lbs, which I was shocked at. I feel like I am eating non stop and I haven't had one m/s. Oh well, I have it to lose, so nothing to worry about. Everything was pretty routine.
I had a super awesome ultrasound. The last one I had was three weeks ago(see pic in below post). I was so amazed at the growth. Three weeks ago we had a baby that looked like a diamond on a ring. Today, we had an alien baby, but still a baby! With a nice strong heartbeat. Michelle LOVED it. She kept telling everyone she got to see the baby in her Mama's tummy.
Things here are going great. I have been really tired, but other then that, I have been feeling great. We are getting ready for Michelle's birthday on Sunday. My baby is going to be 3!!! We have all of her presents, and we ordered her cake. She has requested a Spongebob cake, with a Tinkerbell candle. She also has Spongebob plates, Princess napkins, Backyardigans cups, and Blues Clues hats. What can I say, she likes a nice mix.
Anywho, I should be getting to bed. Hopefully next time you feel like talking more. LOL.
By the way, it says CRL by the baby's head, not GIRL. We won't know what Baby Whoseit is for another 10 weeks.
Woooo!!! I am so happy!!! We had our first ultrasound today, at 6 weeks. Everything looks great. There is one baby complete with heartbeat! The tech was very happy to see a heartbeat, since it is so early, even if things were perfect, it is possible to not see the heartbeat.
I have another ultrasound in 2 weeks, just to double check that there is only one, and the heartbeat is still going strong!
My due date is May 4th!!!!
Michelle is so excited to be a big sister! She wouldn't let go of the ultrasound picture, and was telling everyone about the baby in Mama's tummy.
Because I do everything like my big sister......
I am FINALLY pregnant!!! TWO (long!!!) years in the making, it has finally happened. I still can not believe it. I am ecstatic!! We have our first ultrasound on the 9th to see the heartbeat.... Or heartbeats as some people have been saying, haha.
I am feeling pretty good. A little nausea, but so well worth it. Michelle is so excited to be a big sister, and always wants to look in my belly button to see the baby.
*SOB.... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.... SNIFFLE SNIFFLE!!!!*
Thanks for letting me get that out of my system....
My little girl is in a big twin bed!!!! Sheesh, I swear I blinked once, and time flew by! We still have some stuff to do for her room, but her bed is all done. She LOVES it. I can't wait to see how the room looks all complete.
Here is a slide show of pics I took real quick today:
At the risk of sounding like a bad comic...
What's the deal with the letter C??? Does it have a purpose??? Every word with a C in it, the C is either making the K sound, or the S sound. It is an impostor letter. It serves no purpose. Why not get rid of it, and have a 25 letter alphabet. It's so lazy, mooching off the work of K and S. It needs to get a job! All the other letters have their own sound(or two!), but this one just copies. It is ridiculous.
And while we are on the subject of moochers.....
What the hell is up with grapefruit?? First off, the only way it is slightly edible is with... Oh, I dunno, a pound or two of sugar. And, if you are going to do that, why not just grab the sugar and a spoon and go to town.
My next issue with grapefruit... Why is it trying to mooch of grape's name?? You hear grapefruit and you think "Mmmmm, grapes are so delicious, so this must be twice as delicious since it is Grapefruit." . It is giving grapes everywhere a bad name.
So, on top of grapefruit being super shady, and a moocher, it is also the evilest of all fruits(not to be confused with broccoli the deadliest of all veggies). Lets say you get a delicious fruit salad(no, that isn't an oxymoron) and you take a bite of a delicious looking juicy red strawberry. What does it taste like you ask??? Bitterness. No matter how many delicious fruits(What?? No, I am serious, that is not an oxymoron. Yes, really.) you have in your salad, those two tiny pieces of grapefruit that were so carelessly added have attacked the other delicious flavors. The evil vile juice of the grapefruit, has seeped in and taken over the taste of your fruit salad. It is sad, really.
So, my advice to you, be wary of the moocher/impostor "letter" C, and of the evil grapefruit.
